The Shopping Park Investors Forum (SPIN-f) was originally founded by Atis Real and became a fully independent body chaired by Martin Clews in 2000.
Following the merger with Accessible Retail, it now represents the Investor fraternity as Shopping Park Investor Services (SPIN-s), and has around 20 active members comprising investors, developers and property companies
The Members own over 70m sq ft of out of town retail parks throughout the UK - 550 parks and locations in 250 towns with over 2000 tenancies and many more solus units
SPIN-f has developed a sophisticated software package called Data Manager©
It is available via security password within the Members Area on this website
Data Manager© records details of all members’ properties including tenancy information, planning uses, review dates and passing rents. It also has the ability to analyse average rents and trends by selecting from a choice of criteria including tenants, tenant type, town county, region and even planning user.
We have strict confidentiality rules, allowing only members access
In liaison with AR, Chairman Martin Clews organises two major seminars each year, the Annual Conference in October and the formal Summer Retail Briefing and Luncheon in June.Since the merger, these events are now firmly part of the Accessible Retail Calendar
We also hold and will continue to hold smaller "Focus Forums" generally at Member's offices on matters of common concern such as management, planning, marketing and rent review.
Associations with prime research houses such as Experian Business Strategies, and Verdict to provide trend analysis·against the current economic backloth and data from other sources
Associations to keep us up to date on transportation issues
An association with Savills' Jeremy Hinds on planning issues
Enhancements to Data Manager© including non-member data, research criteria and electronic mapping of the Members' data
SPIN-s has established itself as an important investor/developer association over the last 11 years and our integration with Accessible Retail is an exciting development in its evolution
